It's my wonderful hubby's birthday today!!

My poor hubby has to work today on his birthday, and he works SOOO hard building Coal Barges.

But as I said, he works SO very hard.

He works split shifts...swing shifts...12 hour shifts...he's worked a whole MONTH before w/out even 1 day off (I mean worked even on SUNDAYS!)

Ohhhhhhhh.........Dear.

NEVER underestimate the importance of SunScreen/Block. I know I never will again!

We're in the process of getting ready to set up our new pool...well it was used for a few years, but it's new to us! Anyway....I was scrubbing down all the railings, polls, decking....getting it all cleaned up and nice looking.

Whereas the pool parts came out looking pretty as a picture...my FEET didn't!!!

In fact, that's why I'm 'rambling on' for a bit right now so that hopefully the pictures aren't the VERY FIRST thing that pops up with the screen shot should somebody just get on here~LOL

It actually looks worse in person...and especially in daylight!

It's red, It's swollen, It hurts to stand on, let along WALK on.....and SHOES?

For-friggin-get It!!

And yes...it's only on ONE foot! My other foot got a 'little' but not bad.....

Here's the main victim claimed by the sun's unsparing UV rays yesterday......

I actually have pretty small feet! I only wear a 6 1/2...but wow...is this puppy swollen!!

It's actually to the point where it's 'strawberried' a little w/white specs. Oh man, I hope I don't have sun poisoning!

I've been LATERHERING w/Aloe, Burn Lotions, cool rags....it felt as though the bed sheets would be capable of just scraping the top few layers of skin off!!

SO PLEASE.....

When you go outside

For the Fun in the Sun

Or for certain you will be DONE!

I loved these little bee hives and the mini Shepards Hooks.
So i just drilled a hole into the top of the hive, inserted the hook and then hung these cute lil birdhouse ornaments onto them.

Add a little paint, a little woodburning, a few embellishments

and Wah-Lah!

I just listed 3 brand new items in my Etsy Shop!

I've had these made for some time now, so I thought maybe I should LIST them! They're not doing me any good or pulling in any business just sitting in my craft bins afterall...hehe.

Oh dear, there are TONS of things I should be listing. Perhaps that will be my goal this week. To just knuckle down and do it. I've even got alot of them pictured already....so I dunno WHAT I'm waiting for? I've spent so much time working on my blog here and trying to make my Etsy shop more visible there that I've not really been crafting/listing as much as I'd like to be. And I really want to get started on my holiday section too! I have hundreds of ornaments already made...it's just a matter of getting them pictured and listed now.

Better put on a BIG pot of JAVA!!!!
But...anyway...I Digress......

I've ALWAYS loved taking photgraphs of my environmental surroundings...even when I was a child. I really wanted to take the Photography class offered at my school (MANY years ago...) but it was filled, so I never got to :(

I've just RECENTLY started messing around again w/nature pics.

Would you check out my Spare Room and comment on the pics there? Do I have an eye? or should I give up??

With this being a new blog, it's also a new layout/template.

Whereas I like the new spread, and I love the new 3 column layout...I'm having difficulty with the 'labels' at the top below my header.

AND I'M READY TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd really like to get those up and running so that I can have some "sections" here, I've got some ideas for them that I'd REALLY LOVE to implement !

When I go into the customize/edit layout mode and click on those 'labels', I get a "Page Not Found". When you click on them straight from here, "Blog not found" pops up.

UGH!!!! Why can't things just be SIMPLE???

If you've got a SIMPLE way to explain it to me...PUH-LEEEEEZZZZZ sound in! I may even dedicate a section JUST TO YOU! LOL

Back to the Drawing Board!

WELL!
I did have another site up previously...but somehow it got ALLL messed up and I lost 1/2 of my widgets!

SO, I'm in the process of rebuilding my page. The one good thing that has come out of this is I'm starting it out under a better format...3 columns stretched rather than the 'skinny squished' 2 columns that still yet had a 3" margin on both sides....what a waste of space!

I'm totally loving this format SOOOOOOOO much better! I want to be able to designate some space to featuring other fellow Etsy sellers...and with the added tabs at the top, I should be able to do that easily!

I hope that you'll keep my page in mind and check back often to see the new updates and additions. If there's anything YOU'D like to see here...please feel free to let me know!
